Job Introduction

We are looking for a dedicated and friendly Food Service Assistant to join our team at HMPSS Newbold Training College.

Details

• A personal vehicle is recommended for this role due to the site's remote location.
• 16 hours per week
• Shift pattern/hours: Monday - Thursday, 16:15 - 21:15
• £12.61 per hour
• Free onsite parking
• Uniform and full training provided

Role Overview

You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of efficient and high-quality food services, creating a positive experience for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that food and beverages are served to a high standard.
• Assist in the preparation and assembly of meals, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the food service areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies.
• Ensure the safe storage of food items and adhere to stock rotation policies.
• Take customer orders, process payments, and support any special dietary requirements.
• Help set up and break down food service stations for efficient operation.
• Follow all health and safety regulations in line with Sodexo's policies.
