GLL is looking for a Flexible Catering Assistant to work at Rivermead Leisure Centre. As a catering assistant, you'll support the café and the team to achieve its full potential. A good knowledge of food hygiene and allergens is key. We’re looking for a hardworking catering assistant with excellent customer service and good multi-tasking skills.

What you’ll do:

1. Be a friendly and welcoming face to visitors and customers at the facility.
2. Prepare, serve, and deliver food and drinks.
3. Participate in maintaining high standards of health safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the café and kitchen.
4. Ensure compliance with food safety laws.
5. Follow GLL and Hub policies.
6. Contribute to the development of café services.
7. Handle card payments.
8. Attend meetings and training sessions, and be part of the facility team.
9. Work as part of the team to ensure smooth operation of the facility.
10. Provide excellent customer care and demonstrate good multi-tasking skills.
11. Follow all Normal & Emergency Operating Procedures and adhere to relevant product manuals.
12. Participate in training and ongoing performance assessments.
