Job summary

Apleona UK is recruiting a Catering Assistant for Preston, PR5 0XD. The role offers Saturday and Sunday shifts from 07:30am to 11:30am with an hourly rate of £15. You will deliver friendly food and beverage service, maintain cleanliness, restock areas, and help prepare meeting rooms for events.

We value strong communication, previous catering experience, and a proactive, flexible approach to cover during absences. Training provided and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Experience in a similar catering role preferred.
• Understanding of health and safety in a catering environment essential.
• Excellent time-keeping and reliability.
• Flexibility to cover team during absences/holidays and busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent food and beverage service with product knowledge and passion for what is served.
• Keep service areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Assist with cleaning and restocking vending machines and equipment; prepare meeting rooms for events.
• Support the manager and team with a variety of tasks to meet client needs.

  We’re currently looking to recruit a Catering Assistant who will provide excellent food and beverage service, showing product knowledge and passion for what is being served. You will make sure all customers receive a friendly, efficient service and that all service areas are clean, tidy, and safe.

  You will be committed to delivering a high standard of customer service and remain calm and positive even when it gets busy.You will also help with the cleaning and re-stocking of vending machines and other equipment, preparing meeting rooms for events, and be willing to pitch in with a variety of tasks linked to your job to support your manager, your team, and our client.
