Carlton Academy in Nottingham is seeking a reliable Catering Assistant to help deliver high-quality meals in a busy school setting.

You will work as part of a friendly team, operating the till, assisting with service and food prep, while ensuring hygiene, safety and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Operate a till in line with NRS cashless catering system.
Assist with counter service of food.
Help with the preparation of hot and cold food.
Keep all food preparation and service areas clean and tidy.
Wash and dry equipment.
Ensure the dining room is clean and tidy at the end of each session, including wiping of tables.
Take delivery of food stock and ensure they are to the required standards.
Have a full understanding of the required level of health and safety, food hygiene and nutritional standards.
Have good product knowledge.
