Catering Assistant – Saxlingham Primary

The salary for this role is £12.21 per hour plus 28 days paid holiday entitlement.

Join the team at Norse Catering and help make a difference to the lives of young people by delivering healthy, nutritious, and balanced meals at Saxlingham Primary School. The opportunity:

• Temporary
• 7.5 hours per week - 11:30 to 13:00

This is a term-time only position, working 38 weeks per year, offering a great work-life balance. Your pay will be pro-rata, and you will receive 1/12th of your salary every month, regardless of school holidays.

A day in the life:

You will become an integral part of the school team, supporting the preparation and serving of lunches for students and staff, ensuring an engaging and interactive experience for all.

Upholding high standards of hygiene and cleanliness is vital, including setting up service areas from the kitchen or dining areas, readying them for mealtimes, and tidying away after service.

About you:

If you have previous catering experience, we would love to hear from you. However, we have created extensive induction and training programs, so if you enjoy home cooking and baking and have a passion for good food, we can help you adapt to a commercial catering environment.

All salaries for part-time positions are calculated on a pro-rata basis of the full-time salary shown in the advert, based on your contracted hours per week.
