Monarch Education is recruiting a Catering Assistant to work in a school in the LE12 area. You will assist with meal preparation, serve meals and keep the kitchen clean and hygienic.

We are looking for a reliable team player with good communication skills and a genuine interest in working with pupils. Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable; training and safeguarding support are provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of school meals.
• Supporting the kitchen team with daily catering duties.
• Washing up and maintaining a clean, tidy and hygienic kitchen.
• Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
• Providing a friendly and helpful service to pupils and staff.

• Has a positive, reliable and hardworking attitude.
• Can work effectively as part of a team.
• Has good communication skills.
• Has previous catering or kitchen experience (desirable).
• Has a genuine interest in working within a school environment.
