Job description

We are hiring for a Catering Assistant at The Milton Keynes Academy to perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service in our schools. This role is working term-time only and involves no weekends, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility.

The role:

1. £12.21 per hour
2. 25 hours per week, working Monday – Friday from 09:30 am to 2:30 pm
3. Term-time only – working 190 days per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks and serving on tills/counters
2. Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
3. Keeping the kitchen, counter, and restaurant areas clean and tidy
4. Providing friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all customers
5. Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
