Job summary

Scotch Orchard Primary School is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant to join our school catering team. Working 16.25 hours per week, you will help with meal preparation and service, keep the kitchen clean, and support staff to deliver a welcoming lunchtime experience for pupils.

We value reliability, teamwork and a proactive attitude. Experience in catering or school settings is an advantage, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are welcomed.

Job description

Scotch Orchard Primary School is looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Catering Assistant to join our school catering team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in helping to provide a welcoming and positive lunchtime experience for our pupils.

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of our school kitchen and dining service. Your responsibilities will include helping with food preparation and service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and supporting the catering team to ensure pupils receive a safe, enjoyable and well-presented meal.

Working 16.25 hours per week, you will be an important part of the catering team, helping to create a positive lunchtime experience for our pupils.
