Job Introduction

Catering Assistant
Location: Diageo Leven, Banbeath Industrial Estate, KY8 5HD
Salary: £12.60 per hour
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Friday, 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM

As a Catering Assistant at Sodexo in Diageo Leven (Hall 3 Catering), you are a team player and an essential part of delivering great food and service. Your role is key in ensuring customers enjoy a high-quality dining experience in a clean, friendly, and welcoming environment.

What you’ll do:

• Assist with food preparation and serving to ensure a high standard of presentation and hygiene
• Keep the kitchen, serving areas, and dining spaces clean and tidy
• Operate till systems and handle cash transactions (if required)
• Help with stock management, including receiving and storing deliveries
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure a great dining experience

What you bring:

• A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team
• Experience in a catering or food service role (preferred but not essential)
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• A commitment to hygiene and food safety standards
