Healthcare Kitchen Assistant and Kitchen Porter DBS NEEDED

Berkeley Scott, the country’s leading hospitality agency, is looking for Kitchen Assistants to work with our healthcare client. They are an established healthcare site seeking temporary catering assistants to join their team in Ipswich.

We are seeking dedicated and hard-working individuals who can adapt to any working environment and support teams in their time of need.

You will be responsible for:
  • Assisting with basic food preparation
  • Ensuring that kitchen surface areas are clean and tidy
  • Following Health & Safety procedures
  • Maintaining an outstanding level of customer service
  • Catering for up to 16 beds

Our jobs are generally Monday to Friday, offering a variety of shift patterns starting from 7/8/9/10am and finishing at 2/3/4/5/6pm (these times may vary).

These flexible opportunities start from £12.21 per hour.

Requirements to work in Schools/ Care homes:
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child workforce)
  • Right to Work in UK
  • 2 Employment References
  • Minimum 6 months’ work experience in a similar environment
  • Food and Safety Certificates (including Level 2 Food Safety Certificate)
  • Work with an award-winning agency with a respected reputation nationwide
  • Weekends off (overtime can be arranged for additional hours)
