A healthcare organization in Inverness is seeking a Catering Assistant to work in their busy kitchen. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and assisting in meal preparation for patients. Applicants should have good communication skills, the ability to work in a team or independently, and an Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is desired. Full training will be provided. Closing date for applications is 8th October 2025.
A 37hr Catering Assistant post working any hours between 8am – 6pm has arisen within our busy kitchen to work as part of a team to maintain a clean safe working environment & to assist in the preparation and plating up of all patient meals.
You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills.
An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but full training will be given.
Applicants must be well educated, of a smart appearance & have good customer communication skills.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Please be advised this role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker Visa or a Health and Care Worker Visa.
