Aspens Services Ltd is a market-leading contract catering company specialising in school food. By combining our understanding of the education sector and current food trends, we encourage creativity and excitement in our kitchens, enabling our teams to deliver fantastic food experiences for children.

To support our growth, we are seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team.

The role:

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the team with basic food preparation and provide excellent service to students and staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Working on the tills during service (full training provided)
2. Cleaning duties within the kitchen
3. Ensuring health & safety compliance
4. Providing friendly and polite customer service

About you:

We are looking for someone passionate about delivering exceptional food and service, with the following skills and experience:

• Previous catering experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced team environment
• Food Hygiene Level 2 (preferred but not essential; training provided)
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices

Benefits:

• Excellent hours: Monday to Friday during school term time, no work at Christmas
• 20 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, aligned with term dates
