Catering Assistant, £12.46 per hour + shift allowance and overtime, HG2, 0700-1400 3 days over 7, 28 days holiday, Temporary with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate

Due to a recent expansion, this peaceful setting, a short distance from Harrogate town centre is looking for a catering assistant to help prepare and serve meals to residents:

• Basic food preparation and plating


• Serving food


• Setting up and clearing down the dining room


• Washing up and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy

We would expect the successful Catering assistant to have excellent customer service skills along with food handling experience and knowledge of food safety.

This would be an ideal role if you are looking for a part time role in the Harrogate area and have hospitality, catering, retail or food production assistant experience along with a positive and friendly attitude as this is a customer facing role.

Please note due to the nature of the role it will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

This is a calm and caring home with a conscientious team who have been caring for the residents for many years. The kitchen team work closely with other departments to make sure everything runs smoothly. Due to an increase in residents there is now an opportunity for you to join the team.
