Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team at Virgin Money, Glasgow. The role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, paying £13.00 per hour, with on-site duties including food prep, customer service, and barista tasks.

You will work as part of a friendly team, receive on-site training, and have access to our benefits package and apprenticeship schemes. Prior catering experience is desirable but full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering is desirable; on-site training provided.
• Strong customer service skills with upselling awareness.
• Basic food handling and hygiene understanding.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.

• Prepare sandwiches and grab‑and‑go items.
• Serve customers and operate the till.

Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team working at Virgin Money, Glasgow.

You will be working as part of a fantastic team, serving customers, and providing excellent customer service. You will be required to perform basic food preparation and perform general barista tasks.

What you’ll do:

• Basic food preparation including sandwiches, grab and go items, basic hot food if required.
• Serving customers and operating the till, providing opportunities for upselling products, and ensuring you are always providing excellent customer service.
• Stocking up and putting away deliveries
• General cleaning back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous catering experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
