Job summary

Hertfordshire Catering Limited (HCL) is seeking a dedicated kitchen assistant to support food preparation and meal service for children in our school catering operations. You will help ensure high hygiene standards and safe practices in a busy kitchen and dining area.

This role involves receiving deliveries, food handling, and assisting with day-to-day operations while delivering friendly customer service and reflecting our values.

Qualifications

• Upholding Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Adhering with Health & Safety regulations
• Receiving, checking, and organising supplier deliveries
• Carry out washing-up duties, maintain a clean hygienic kitchen and dining area
• Representing HCL and reflecting our values in everything you do
  Committed to safeguarding children and young people
• Food hygiene level 2 certification (preferred)
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures
• Knowledge of key allergens (preferred)
