Job summary

Places for People is seeking a friendly team member to join its catering/retail operations. You will help with food preparation, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and ensure compliance with health and safety and allergen policies while delivering excellent customer service to visitors.

You should have experience in catering or retail, a good grasp of hygiene regulations, and a personable manner suitable for a diverse customer base.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or retail roles with knowledge of allergens and hygiene standards.
• Solid understanding of current Health & Safety regulations and food standard policies.
• Able to interact with a wide range of customers with a friendly, personable manner.

You will ensure high standards are maintained at all times. You will assist in food preparation, complying with all Health & Safety and Food hygiene policies whilst prioritising the presentation and cleanliness of all catering areas. A large part of your role will be to represent the company by operating a high standard of customer service to all our visitors.

More about you

You will have experience of working within a catering or retail role, with an awareness of allergen and hygiene standards. You should have a good background knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations as well as current food standard policies. You will have a personable and friendly manner and ideally be used to dealing with a wide range of customers.
