An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Catering Assistant to work within the kitchen at Ninewells Hospital. We are seeking an enthusiastic team member to join our department. You will be responsible for delivering high standards of Catering Service within the Hospital to patients, staff, and visitors while maintaining a clean, safe working environment. This role involves cleaning equipment and is physically demanding. Previous experience in a catering environment is essential.
You must be able to work as part of a team or independently, follow instructions, and have good communication skills. The ability to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and work under pressure is required. There are two posts available.
You will need to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and adhere to the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

The working hours are 29.6 hours per week, 5 days from 7, with shifts between 7 am and 8 pm. Weekend work is paid at an enhanced rate.
Please note: The salary scale is pro-rata for part-time hours. This position does not meet Home Office Sponsorship/Skilled Worker Visa requirements.
