Job summary

Impact Food Group is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant for Thames Christian School in Clapham. You will support our catering teams, serving meals to students during term time, with shifts from 8:30am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals to a high standard, assisting with plating and counter service, keeping the kitchen and dining area clean and hygienic, and delivering friendly service to students and staff.

About the role

Job Title: Catering Assistant

School Location: Thames Christian School, Clapham, Lambeth, SW11 2FR

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 8.30am-2.30pm (30hours per week)

Working Weeks: 38weeks per year

Pay Details: £16,455.60 per Annum

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Catering Assistant, you’ll support our high-standard catering teams, helping deliver fresh, beautifully presented meals to students in ourindependentschools.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and serving meals and snacks to a high standard
• Assisting with plating, presentation, and counter service
• Supporting the kitchen team with food prep
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen and dining area
• Providing friendly and professional service to all students and staff

What we’re looking for:

• Experience incatering or hospitality (School catering is prefereable but not essential)
• A passion for food and high standards
• Teamwork skills and reliability
• Flexible approach to working hours to support school schedules
