We are excited to offer a Permanent Catering Assistant position at our Edinburgh schools' contract in Pirniehall Primary School, 4 West Pilton Crescent, Edinburgh EH4 4HP.

Hours: 12 Hours Per week (Shift pattern: Monday to Thursday, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm)

Our team creates high-quality learning environments, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compliance for inspiring teachers and enabling students to gain valuable skills and qualifications.

We partner with our clients and end-users to deliver high-standard 24/7 services with minimal disruption to school operations.

What you will do:
  • Prepare food and drinks, including vegetables and snacks
  • Cook simple foods, including heating and reconstituting convenience foods and vegetables
  • Transport and serve meals, including packing and unpacking food into containers
  • Wash up and clear away equipment
  • Handle cash transactions
  • Clean the kitchen, its surroundings, and equipment

  • Highly organized, responsible, efficient, with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills, friendly and approachable, with a positive work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and support others
