Catering Assistant

What you'll do:

  • Deliver friendly and welcoming service to colleagues, clients, and customers
  • Assist with daily service set up, food prep and serving from our tempting menus
  • Keep service and dining areas clean, tidy, and well-organised
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to keep everything running smoothly
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, allergen and storage guidelines
  • Set up and deliver food and beverage for client hospitality
  • Operate a variety of standard kitchen equipment such as tills, dishwasher, oven, fryer
  • Undertake all aspects of cleaning including walls (up to 6ft) fixtures, fittings, floors, pots, pans, utensils
  • Transport waste to designated skips
  • Assist in Ad-Hoc functions some of which may occur outside of working hours
  • Holiday and sickness cover in other areas of the business

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in hospitality or food service is a bonus, but we'll give you full training!
  • Communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude
  • A focus on cleanliness and hygiene
  • A team-player but also without supervision, with willingness to help out
  • Ability to lift carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials.
