Job Introduction

We are looking for a dedicated and friendly Catering Assistant to join our team at ScottishFire and Fire and Rescue National Headquarters and Training Centre, Cambuslang. You’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of efficient and high-quality food services, creating a positive experience for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that food and beverages are served to a high standard.
2. Assist in the preparation and assembly of meals, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
3. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the food service areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies.
4. Help with the safe storage of food items and adhere to stock rotation procedures.
5. Take customer orders, process payments, and support any special dietary requirements.
6. Assist in setting up and breaking down food service stations to ensure efficient operation.
7. Follow all health and safety regulations in line with Sodexo's policies.
