Zusammenfassung

Holroyd Howe in Brentwood is seeking a Catering Assistant (all rounder FOH and BOH) for term-time only, offering 40 hours per week with a rota of 5 out of 7 days. The role includes preparing and serving beverages and snacks, maintaining hygiene, and supporting school events. DBS checks are required, and training is provided where needed.

Qualifikationen

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, light snacks, and pre-prepared foods.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the café areas, counters, seating and equipment.
• Restock supplies and ensure displays are well-presented and inviting.
• Assist with general kitchen duties including cleaning, washing up, mopping and stock checks.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service and foster a welcoming atmosphere in the café.
• Support occasional school events or functions as required.

Hours: 40 hours per week with paid overtime. 5 out of 7 days rota.

Job Description

• Provide friendly and efficient service to students, staff, and visitors in the school
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, light snacks, and pre-prepared foods
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the café, including counters, seating, and equipment
• Restock supplies and ensure displays are well-presented and inviting
• Assist with general kitchen duties, including cleaning, washing up, mopping, stock count etc.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations at all times
• Provide excellent customer service, fostering a welcoming atmosphere in the café
• Support occasional school events or functions as required
• Assist with setting up and serving meals to pupils and staff
