Job summary

Warburtons is seeking a catering assistant to support our busy staff canteen. You will deliver excellent customer service and help provide daily breakfast and lunch to colleagues, while keeping the kitchen hygienic and well‑stocked.

We value a calm, professional communicator with a passion for food safety. Flexible availability across the week is required to cover early shifts and weekend days.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or hospitality (preferred).
• Passion for great customer service and a calm, professional communication style.
• Team-player with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing daily breakfast and lunch to Warburtons colleagues in the staff canteen.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen and canteen environment.
• Support internal meetings with high‑quality buffet services.

Job description

We're looking for someone with experience gained in a catering assistant role, someone who brings excellent customer service standards and a calm, professional approach to communication. A working knowledge of food safety standards, and a food safety qualification is desirable. You'll be confident in maintaining hygiene, handling food safely, and delivering a high-quality service to our colleagues and visitors. The Recipe Working in our busy staff canteen, you'll help provide daily breakfast and lunch to our amazing Warburtons colleagues. You'll also support internal meetings with high-quality buffet services and maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen and canteen environment.
