Job Title: Catering Assistant

As a Catering Assistant, you will work in the staff and delegate cafe and Conference facility, carrying out duties including serving food and till operations. The role is primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and ad hoc weekday evenings. Successful candidates will undergo vetting to work within a Police site, and the role is contingent upon passing this process.

Shift patterns typically involve 5 out of 7 days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing high-quality, delicious food that delights our clients and customers.
• Creating attractive food and counter displays to attract customers.
• Proudly representing Defence and embodying our positive brand image.
• Handling transactions efficiently and operating the cash register.
• Maintaining the highest standards of Food Handling & Hygiene.
• Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by following Health & Safety regulations.
