The Mirfield Free Grammar in West Yorkshire is seeking a Catering Assistant for 27.5 hours per week during term time, 8:30am – 2:30pm. Grade 3, scalepoint 3, £12.85 per hour with start ASAP (September).
This fixed-term role involves a variety of manual tasks in food production and service, assisting with cleaning and washing-up, and helping to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen. Closing date: Tuesday 25th August, 9am; Interviews: w/c 1st September.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant, initially on a fixed term, who is passionate about both great food and great service. Within the Multi-Academy Trust, we strive to be the best we can be in everything we do and that includes our catering facilities. We are incredibly proud of the catering service we offer to our students and staff.
Within the kitchen we employ fully trained Chefs including a Baker. Together the team produces a wide variety of meals, snacks and desserts made from locally sourced food and ingredients which are freshly prepared every day. Within our Academy operations, we have received high praise for our catering facilities and have won awards in recognition of the high standard of healthy food prepared for our students.
We are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant who perform a variety of manual tasks associated with food production and service in the catering department. The postholder will assist with cleaning and washing-up of equipment, crockery and cutlery in the kitchen, and help to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
