About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to join our kitchen, based at our state-of-the art factory in Barton-Upon-Humber. The position is full time, working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:30. Salary for this position is £26,832.

We are looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to join our kitchen, based at our state-of-the art factory in Barton-Upon-Humber. The position is full time, working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:30. Salary for this position is £26,832.

Driving licence is essential.

Main responsibilities:

• Dealing with the replenishment of vending machines.
• Ensuring stock levels are maintained for the vending machines by liaising with suppliers and regularly checking stock levels.
• Basic preparation , serving and handling of food in the canteen when required
• Keeping the workstation tidy, includes clearing down at the end of the shift, washing up and good observation of cleanliness
• Being part of the cleaning rota on a weekly basis

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

• Catering experience (essential)
• Good communication skills
• Customer service experience
• Ability to cover other members of staff due to holidays, sickness etc
• Interest and knowledge of food
• Capable of working in a culturally diverse environment
