Job summary

The Manor House Barnard Castle, part of Anchor Hanover Group, is seeking a Catering Assistant to help prepare and serve nutritious, well-presented meals for residents. Join a supportive team where attention to detail, teamwork, and care for others matter.

You will ensure food safety and hygiene standards, minimise waste, and assist with daily kitchen tasks. Level 2 Food Safety is required (or willingness to obtain). Experience in catering and with older people is desirable.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food Safety certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
• Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment.
• Experience working with older people is ideal but not required.

What You’ll Bring
