Job description

Location: Ofsted-rated 'Good' college in Greater Manchester

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible


About the Role:

We're working with a well-regarded further education college in Greater Manchester who are looking for a Catering and Hospitality Lecturer. You'll be delivering Professional Cookery to students from Entry Level 3 up to Level 3, with a focus on practical, high-quality teaching informed by your own vocational experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Teach Professional Cookery across Entry 3 to Level 3 courses
  2. Deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that develop learners' technical and industry-related skills
  3. Support students pastorally and academically
  4. Contribute to curriculum planning and team collaboration within the department
Ideal Candidate:
  1. Level 3 qualification in Professional Cookery
  2. A recognised teaching qualification
We will also consider developing you if you have:
  1. Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification
  2. Strong vocational experience in the catering/hospitality industry
Additional Info:
  1. 40 days' annual leave per year
  2. Full-time hours (37 hours per week)
