Qualifications

  • Must hold a Level 3 Professional Cookery qualification.
  • Qualified or willing to pursue Level 2 English and Maths.
  • Experience delivering professional cookery qualifications desirable.

Catering and Hospitality Course Leader (Tutor)
Full time, 37 hours per week
£29,249 - £34,948 per annum
Burton on Trent, Town Centre Campus

Who are we looking for?

We are looking to recruit a talented Chef Lecturer to join our current Hospitality department at Burton and South Derbyshire College.

The successful applicant will be an accomplished Chef who can produce a wide range of outstanding food, and can teach, motivate and inspire learners to achieve the same. Ideally, but not essential, with experience of delivering professional cookery qualifications.

Applicants must hold a Level 3 Professional Cookery qualification, and the College welcomes applications from seasoned Chefs who desire to pursue a career in further education. We are happy to offer training for individuals to gain a recognised teaching qualification alongside this role.

Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
