Burton and South Derbyshire College is seeking a full-time Catering and Hospitality Course Leader (Tutor) to inspire learners in professional cookery. The role includes teaching, motivating students, and producing exceptional food. Applicants must hold a Level 3 Professional Cookery qualification and be ready to engage in a training programme for further qualifications.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking to recruit a talented Chef Lecturer to join our current Hospitality department at Burton and South Derbyshire College.
The successful applicant will be an accomplished Chef who can produce a wide range of outstanding food, and can teach, motivate and inspire learners to achieve the same. Ideally, but not essential, with experience of delivering professional cookery qualifications.
Applicants must hold a Level 3 Professional Cookery qualification, and the College welcomes applications from seasoned Chefs who desire to pursue a career in further education. We are happy to offer training for individuals to gain a recognised teaching qualification alongside this role.
Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
