This role is supporting our category marketing execution across our store estate. This role will support generic long term messaging, promotional campaign creative and execution (print and digital) , customer shopping journeys and product specific detail such as ticketing.


With clear organisation, a keen eye for detail and excellent administration skills this role will help manage and create guidelines and frameworks that can be used across the specific category execution to deliver consistency and really engage and educate our customers improving the customer shopping journey and supporting our colleagues selling model.


This role will support the Senior and stores marketing manager in executing customer communications by creating; theatre (driving footfall); engaging customer journeys (increasing customer engagement); and compelling calls to action (improving conversion).

Role overview:

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Planning – Support the forward planning cycle, ensuring that at any given point in time we have clear visibility of pipeline of work be it by brand, by promotion, or by range change
  • Project management – manage initiatives through brief, design, production and store go live lifecycle
  • Budget administration, ensuring cost and targets are managed, documented and communicated in line with the business timing structure
  • Innovation - Continuous review of competitor activity to ensure we remain at the forefront of customer communication
  • Build, maintain and communicate (internal and external) our store messaging hierarchy, principles and supplier creative guidelines
  • Stakeholder management - Work closely with the studio team to ensure work is effectively prioritized and completed; with the brand teams to manage the visual identity of our store formats; and with retail ops excellence to ensure timely delivery
  • Ensure all briefs are accurate, correctly coded and collated before passing to studio and external agency teams
  • Ensure that communications are customer centric with clear and consistent execution
  • Stakeholder management of brief owners, studio, printing team, retail operations and store format

You will need:

  • Proactive communicator, able to manage change and be demonstrate resilience and a pro-active attitude
  • Ability to write clear, insightful, and motivating briefs and ensure all detail required is obtained
  • Copy writing and proof-reading experience, good attention to detail
  • Passionate about customer engagement and communication
  • Strong administration skills (excel, word, PPT and Teams)
  • 2-3 years retail experience
