Job summary

1st Executive Ltd in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Category Specialist to support the Marketing category for a Global FMCG business.

You will partner closely with Marketing stakeholders and drive sourcing across agency services, media, events, brand activations, POS materials and wider marketing expenditure. This role requires RFQ/RFP experience and strong supplier management skills to develop commercial recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience running RFQs, RFPs and sourcing exercises.
• Experience evaluating supplier proposals and developing commercial recommendations.
• Contract and supplier management experience.
• Comfortable working with non-procurement stakeholders.

I am currently recruiting a Category Specialist to support the Marketing category for a Global FMCG business.

Experience required

• Experience running RFQs, RFPs and sourcing exercises
• Experience evaluating supplier proposals and developing commercial recommendations
• Contract and supplier management experience
• Comfortable working with non-procurement stakeholders

Experience in one or more of:

• Marketing Procurement
• Brand activations
• Promotional materials
• Events procurement

You will either have Indirect procurement experience and be keen to learn the marketing category or you might come directly from agencies in commercial, procurement, vendor management or a supplier-facing role
