Category Procurement Manager – Commodity Ingredients

Great opportunity for a Category Procurement Manager to join a leading branded food group in its sector.

Focus Management Consultants is working with a growing food business supplying major retailers, recognized as category leaders. They are expanding their procurement team, presenting a great career opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have experience in commodities and ingredients within the food industry. You will manage the CRM plan, oversee PPV versus Budget, contribute to the annual budget process, and identify risks and opportunities. You will manage two direct reports, evaluate and select suppliers, and build strategic partnerships.

Requirements include at least five years of sourcing and commodity market experience in food manufacturing, strong supplier management skills, a solid understanding of Incoterms, excellent negotiation skills, people management experience, and a good grasp of global supply chains.
