Job description

Job Purpose

As part of GSP, the Category Planner will support the Connections team in all planning activities related to the delivery of connections products from our internal/external global supply base to all TechnipFMC locations, in accordance with company policies & procedures.

Job Description

  1. Coordinate the movement and availability of tooling to support the execution of connections products globally across both internal & external supply bases. Manage the Connections tool pool demand via ETM in conjunction with SEMs & suppliers.
  2. In alignment with the Connections Tender Playbook, responsible for creation and maintenance of connections products material extension into SAP for Dunfermline SAP plants. Complete a yearly review of master data for connections products & coordinate required updates globally with regional planning representatives.
  3. Monitor the progress of engineering releases in alignment with supplier schedules to ensure on-time delivery of connections products to projects. Serve as the point of contact for ZIMPACT reports/analysis to support engineering releases/changes to connections products.
  4. Provide support to the wider connections team through tender, mobilization, and execution activities.
  5. Utilize available data across SAP/We-Deliver/DRM to review the portfolio of connections products trends for improvement opportunities.

You are meant for this job if:

Essential

  • Knowledge in MRP / ERP systems
  • Knowledge of material BOM structures, for setup in SAP
  • Strong data analysis and visualization skills
  • Proficiency with Power BI tools (including DAX and Power Query) with demonstrated experience in developing reports and dashboards using Power BI
  • Ability to manage own workload and work to defined deadlines
  • Ability to have effective multifunctional interactions
  • Effective communication skills

Desirable

  • Primavera P6 knowledge
  • Microsoft applications - Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in material planning, master scheduling, or long-term planning
