Base pay range

$41,600.00/yr - $70,720.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Develops category goals, strategies, and product assortments focused on our core customer, ensuring a relevant mix of national, local, and private label products to differentiate Whole Foods Market.
  • Responsible for financial performance, driving profitable sales through data-driven, customer-centric assortment selection, product development, pricing, presentation, and promotion.
  • Collaborates with Merchandising Planning, Operations, Procurement, Distribution, Quality Assurance, Marketing, Regional Leadership, and Suppliers to achieve category goals.
  • Supports category, merchandising, promotional, and pricing strategy development, analysis, and execution for produce & floral departments.
  • Assists in assortment planning, supplier reviews, stakeholder collaboration, item forecasting, and project execution.
  • Coordinates logistics for key events and maintains communication with suppliers.
  • Supports data management, reporting, and category insights development.
  • Participates in category reset, promotional activities, and new product lifecycle management.
  • Contributes to team efforts to develop a customer-centric category vision grounded in data and forward-looking insights.
Skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong planning and execution skills.
  • Effective team player with a positive attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills and familiarity with retail software solutions.
  • Passionate about Organics, Fair Trade, Quality Standards, and the Natural Foods industry.

Education & Experience
