Job summary

Allexo Search, in partnership with a leading branded FMCG business in the UK, is recruiting a Category Manager to drive category growth with ownership from day one.

You will turn data into clear commercial recommendations, build strong customer relationships, and work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and NPD on launches and initiatives to deliver growth in Discount and Convenience channels.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG with UK retail exposure.
• Ability to translate data into commercial recommendations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with customers.

Responsibilities

• Own category relationships across Discount and Convenience customers.
• Lead and support customer range reviews with data-driven insights.
• Develop customer-specific category plans aligned with retailer objectives.
• Analyse promotional performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Review range, distribution, space and sales performance for growth.
• Create and deliver category and market insight presentations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and cross-functional teams on initiatives.
