    • A Strategy & Performance centre to drive and implement procurement strategy, policies, and processes
  • Key hubs in London and Bangalore, with some decentralised activity supporting local markets across Europe and Asia

The purpose of this role is to create, develop, and deliver a "best in class" procurement service, delivering year-on-year benefits in innovation, speed, quality, efficiency, risk mitigation, and cost reduction.

The activities are global, including managing third-party suppliers, sourcing, vendor strategy, and category roadmap, with an emphasis on Cloud Service Providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP.

The role involves collaboration with the wider procurement team to support strategy and transformation, with no direct budget or reports.

Key interfaces include senior management, category teams, procurement centres, finance, legal, and business partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Establishing a Category Strategy: Defining and implementing strategic sourcing plans, developing category strategies, and driving value through supplier categorisation and data analysis.
  2. Implementing the Strategy: Leading supplier performance programs, negotiations, risk mitigation, and procurement initiatives, ensuring compliance and effective supplier relationship management.
  3. Developing Relationships: Building strong relationships with internal and external partners, leading SRM, and managing supplier risks and issues.
  4. BAU Activities: Managing procurement systems, ensuring compliance, and supporting the wider procurement function.
