What Does the Role Entail?

1. Developing category plans (immediate, mid, and long-term)
2. Identifying new products to meet market trends and reviewing existing product portfolios
3. Assessing new suppliers for financial and operational suitability to meet company standards
4. Negotiating prices and trading agreements
5. Interpreting reports and forecasting future sales
6. Conducting regular meetings with existing suppliers to manage categories
7. Achieving targets, budgets, and results by maximizing opportunities, from quote to product selection, ensuring best prices for sales teams
8. Managing divisional relationships and portfolios, ensuring best practices are utilized and implemented

Skills & Experience

• High proficiency in Excel
• Experience in an FMCG environment, preferably within janitorial or chemical products
• Ability to negotiate complex contracts
