Our colleagues in the Category Management UK team are looking for a new Category Manager on a 12-month FTC. This is a hybrid role, based out of our Media City head office, offering flexibility to work where it suits you best.

As we invest in the future of food, we’ll rely on you to lead the Customer Category Management for the Waitrose & Iceland accounts. This role offers a real opportunity to make a significant impact within a global business.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build trusted category relationships: Develop relationships with our customers through regular review meetings and identify growth opportunities using customer data and insights.
  • Track category performance and market trends: Analyze category and assortment performance, as well as market trends, for reviews, presentations, and opportunity/risk assessments.
  • Develop our customer assortment: Advise customers on range assortment and planogram decisions aligned with Kellanova’s growth strategies.
  • Trade stories & category vision: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and revenue teams to build and present category and business plans to our customers.
  • Build the assortment of the future: Support new assortment development by bringing market expertise to the category and marketing teams.

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • At least 2 years’ experience in FMCG within the UK, with a background in Category Management, Key Account/National Account Management, or Buying.
  • Strong analytical skills, independence, and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Good commercial acumen with a proven track record of unlocking growth.
  • A full driver’s license (preferred).
