Category Manager (Facilities & Maintenance)

Hybrid Working from any of our EMEA locations: UK (Manchester, Corby or London), Germany (Frankfurt), France (Beauvais), Italy (Milan)

About the Role:

The Category Manager is a key role within the EMEA Product & Supplier Management organization, responsible for developing category strategies and working with stakeholders to execute growth plans, delivering profitable growth, customer acquisition, and ROI.

They will define market-leading brands, latest products, and technologies to drive growth across EMEA, and manage the product lifecycle and supplier relationships, including negotiations and performance management.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:
  1. Category/technology strategy planning, governance, and execution
  2. Development & execution of supplier business plans
  3. Utilize digital data and insights for decision-making and performance improvement
  4. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
  5. Cost management and pricing strategies
  6. Portfolio development and new product introductions (NPI)
  7. Collaborate across stakeholders to develop category offers aligned with customer needs
  8. Manage product lifecycle including NPI, discontinuations, and revenue protection
  9. Deliver KPIs related to growth, revenue, margin, customer acquisition, and digital performance
  10. Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
  11. Influence customer satisfaction scores (NES and NPS)
  12. Apply commercial acumen and analytical skills to optimize performance
