The Client

What The Job Involves

  • Understanding & documenting competitor offering.
  • Understanding & documenting market segments and evolutions.
  • Understanding & underlying trends that could shape future performance.
  • Monthly review of sales & launch performance.
  • Monitor our market share evolution to identify & suggest actions to grow our shares
  • Quarterly evolution of the lost opportunities.
  • Analyses our price positioning.
  • Based on performance assessment, bringing directions for improvement action plans so Sales Teams and/or Operations Teams can build plans accordingly.
  • Analysing and defining target segments: propose the 7 Ps, present and validate them with LDCS steerco, create action list to get there.
  • Propose & adapt this category plan country after country, segment after segment together with European and local sales & marketing management.
  • Developing product/service/cost requirement brief.
  • Getting it in LDCS / SBU / manufacturer roadmap.
  • Following up the development process up until launch.
  • Prepare the launch and follow up its deployment.
  • Regular update to LDCS management team.
  • Participate to the continuous promotion of the category : support communication team along the year, present in events, help our teams presenting at events.

We Are Looking For Someone With

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven technical/ sales experience in power distribution industry (manufacturer, consultant, installer).
  • Strong understanding of market analysis, competitive positioning, and pricing strategies.
  • Ability to analyse sales performance, market trends, and customer insights to drive strategic decisions.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects, product launches, or go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with sales, marketing, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management and an ability to translate technical insights into commercial strategies.
  • Ability to travel within Europe as needed.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
