Job Description:

One of the world's leading FMCG companies is recruiting a Category Manager, Corrugated Packaging to join its team in London.

This is a highly ambitious business with an annual turnover of 4.5 billion EUR and plans to double in size over the next 10 years!

You will be joining a mature procurement function with over 50 procurement professionals.

Reporting to the Senior Category Manager, you will manage the Corrugated Packaging Category (35-40 million Euros) across 4 regions in Europe.

This will be a highly strategic role where you will devise and implement category strategies across your regions, build strong supplier relationships, optimize costs, and mitigate risks.

The business has an entrepreneurial culture, offering you the autonomy to build and shape your category area.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement activities of the Corrugated Packaging (Ireland / Norway / Spain / UK).
• Deliver productivity targets by supporting the Senior Category Manager in executing the strategy and future vision.
• Drive sustainable corrugated packaging strategy according to regional responsibilities.
• Establish relationships with all suppliers.
• Foster close working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Deliver the company's objectives in terms of cost, quality, service, and innovation.
• Promote and manage a robust supplier base to meet procurement targets for compliance and reporting.
• Implement sustainable processes, compliance requirements, and category strategies.
