Category Manager – Building Materials

Warrington

Hybrid: 3 days in the office

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for procurement and leadership? Inprova is looking for a Category Manager – Building Materials to lead and grow our procurement services across a key category. You’ll manage a team of Buyers and Senior Buyers, develop strategic category plans, and build strong relationships with suppliers and customers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead procurement strategy and contract development for the Building Materials category.
  • Deliver tailored procurement solutions and drive commercial performance.
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Mentor and develop your team to deliver outstanding results.
  • Analyse data, manage tenders, and report on performance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
  • MCIPS qualified with strong procurement expertise.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in large-scale procurement and EU regulations.
  • A confident communicator and negotiator with a full driving licence.
