Position: Category Manager

Location: Remote, Ad-Hoc travel to Uxbridge office

Monster Energy, one of the fastest-growing and most recognisable beverage brands globally, is looking for a commercially astute and ambitious Category Manager to lead the charge in developing insight-led strategies that unlock category growth and influence major retail decisions.

The Role:

  • Develop and execute long-term category strategies across all environments in GB, working closely with the bottler.
  • Own and drive the GB category agenda to support business growth.
  • Lead insight-led customer decision processes to optimise range, space, and distribution.
  • Identify market gaps and build compelling commercial stories to drive growth.
  • Deliver customer planograms using shopper insight and category expertise.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, innovation, and trade marketing teams.
  • Analyse shopper behaviours and market trends to shape category plans.
  • Lead post-launch reviews and drive strategic planning for future innovations.
  • Support business reporting cycles with relevant data and insights.

About You:

  • Proven Category or Commercial Manager experience within Grocery or AFH.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in Nielsen, IRI, and Kantar.
  • Ability to turn data into actionable insights with compelling storytelling.
  • Passion for understanding consumer and shopper behaviour.
  • Collaborative approach to cross-functional stakeholder management.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to prioritise and balance short- and long-term deliverables.
  • A curious, driven, and energetic attitude aligned with Monster’s bold brand ethos.
