Are you a Category Manager (Business Travel) who can get to Stevenage?

This is a new opportunity to join a diverse international team that believes in championing talent and developing people to their full potential. Welcome to the Travel and Communications procurement team at our client.

They lead all aspects of Travel and Communication spend across the Group. This role is specialized in Business Travel and also includes elements of communication. If you have experience in Business Travel or professional services procurement, then this is an opportunity not to miss.

Travel

Our client has extensive and geographically diverse travel needs across Europe, the Americas, Middle East, and Far East. You will be an integral partner within their Business Travel Manager community, collaborating closely with their Travel Management Company and Online Booking Tool providers, car rental firms, airlines, hotel chains, and venue finding agencies. Their goal is to ensure the needs of their business travelers are met.

Communications

This includes print and digital communications as well as trade shows, exhibitions, and corporate events management both nationally and internationally. You would act as an extension to the client's Communications teams, working with suppliers in photographic and video, promotional items, digital media, and event management, including international exhibitions.

Requirements
  • Experience within Business Travel Procurement that you wish to develop further or Indirect Procurement with some existing Business Travel knowledge in categories such as:
  • TMC / OBT (Travel Management Companies and Online Booking tools), Car Rental, Airlines, or Hotels.
  • Willingness to Travel
  • Working towards MCIPS qualification or willingness to gain it (they offer routes towards this qualification).
Salary

£50-60k plus bonus and excellent benefits.
