Job description

We are seeking a Category Manager to work in the defence sector.

Location: Hybrid working - Reading (70% remote / 30% client/supplier visits)

Essential Skills: The ideal candidates will have a proven Commercial Management background, with the following skills/experience:

1. Experience in Category Management & Category Strategies within the Defence, Nuclear or Central Government.
2. Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management & Contract Management.
3. Experience in Public sector, End-to-end Procurement processes.
4. Experience in Procurement Act 2023 & PCR 2015 - Desired.
5. Experience in NEC 3/4 Contract Management - Desired.
6. CIPS Certification - Desired.
