Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Category Manager for OTC Healthcare on a 6-month secondment basis in Nottingham. You will lead a dynamic team within the Boots Customer & Category function, driving growth plans, building internal and external relationships and translating customer insights into effective trade strategies.

The role demands strong leadership, commercially minded thinking and an appetite to explore opportunities to improve category performance, space planning and supplier negotiations.

Contract: Secondment/Fixed Term Contract - 6 months
Location: Nottingham
Welcome to the Boots Customer & Category team – an exciting team at the heart of Boots UK’s growth plans. As a Category Manager - OTC Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in delivering brilliant growth plans for our customers, driving differentiation and category growth.
In this role, you will report to the Head of Category and lead a dynamic team, building excellent relationships both internally and externally. Your passion for healthcare and ability to inspire others will be key as you navigate the highs and lows of trading.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong commercial awareness with a deep understanding of customer needs and motivations.

• A proactive, go-getter attitude, always seeking new opportunities to drive the business forward.

It would be great if you also have

• Previous experience in retail and category management, with excellent negotiation skills.
