Job summary

HARMAN is seeking a Financial Analyst for the Sound United Business Unit in Southwater, UK. You will be a key finance partner to Product Category, Engineering, and cross‑functional teams, analyzing product category performance, developing business cases, and supporting investment decisions.

With 5+ years in FP&A and strong Excel/SAP skills, you’ll help translate data into actionable insights, drive profitability, and contribute to a global portfolio in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or similar.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and business case development.
• Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders and influencing decisions through data-driven insights.
• Advanced Excel and SAP/ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product category performance and key drivers to support decision-making.
• Perform financial analysis and scenario modeling for category evaluation and investments.
• Partner with Product Category and Engineering to develop and evaluate business cases and assumptions.
• Evaluate post-launch performance against profitability targets and ROI expectations.
• Maintain financial models, category KPIs, and dashboards to improve visibility and governance across the portfolio.
• Support the annual Global R&D budget across shared resources and product categories.
• Ensure data integrity across ERP systems and reporting processes.
