Join 2 Sisters Food Group, one of the UK's largest food manufacturers, with an annual turnover exceeding £3 billion and approximately 13,000 employees across 16 sites. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual that's eager to launch their planning / scheduling career. We have a strong presence in poultry, chilled, and bakery food categories, including popular brands like Holland's pies. We are committed to delivering high-quality products to the British public and our retail and food service customers, including major retailers like Aldi, Asda, Co-op, KFC, Lidl, Marks & Spencer, Morrison's, Sainsbury's, Tesco, and Waitrose.

About the role:

We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Category Executive to join our Commercial Team, supporting a key growth area of the business while our current team lead is on maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in retail, data, and commercial strategy, with a clear progression path towards a Category Manager role.

You'll play a hands-on role supporting category management through insightful data analysis, store audits, and preparation for key client meetings. Working closely with teams across Commercial and NPD, you'll gain invaluable experience across pricing, promotions, and market trends - all while developing client-facing skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support management with data and insights for client meetings
  • Collaborate with Commercial and New Product Development (NPD) teams
  • Assist with store audits, pricing analysis, and promotional planning
  • Create and manage Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations
  • Conduct in-store checks at major retailers including M&S, Asda, and Sainsbury's
  • Travel to store locations 1-2 times per month

About You:

  • Experienced in using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Confident working independently and remotely, with initiative to grow into a client-facing role
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (required)
  • Familiarity with Kantar or similar databases is a plus
  • 35 days annual leave
  • Company pension scheme with Legal & General or NEST pension
  • Death in service benefit, optional - linked to membership of L&G pension
  • Company sick pay - after qualifying period
  • Free onsite parking
  • Exclusive 2 Sisters employee discount platform available via an app offering savings of up to 60% with brands including Asda, Morrisons, Marks and Spencer and Tesco.
  • Employee assistance programme.
  • Grocery Aid - employees access to counselling
