Great opportunity for a Category Buyer to join a leading branded food group in its sector.

I am currently working with a food business that is a leader in its sector, supplying to major retailers for decades. They are experiencing a period of growth, making this an excellent time to join their procurement team.

The company is seeking an experienced Category Buyer with procurement expertise in commodity-based ingredients. You will work closely with the Category Procurement Manager to manage your own category of ingredients, identify risks and opportunities, recommend CRM plans, source new suppliers, and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

Applicants should have previous buying experience in sourcing and commodities within a food manufacturing environment. Strong supplier management, negotiation skills, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint are required.
