The Advocate Group is looking for a Category Executive to join a dynamic Category & Marketing team within a leading FMCG business. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering actionable market insights, shaping category strategies, and supporting marketing initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  1. Analysing market data (IRI, Kantar, IGD) to identify trends and opportunities.
  2. Helping to support range reviews, NPD briefs, and customer-specific growth strategies.
  3. Working collaboratively with Account Managers, NPD, and wider teams to develop and execute category plans.
  4. Managing and delivering internal and external insights in an impactful way.
  5. Driving marketing strategy execution across multiple communication channels.
What We’re Looking For:
  1. 1+ year of experience in an FMCG Category & Insights role or data agency.
  2. A passion for food and a commercial mindset.
  3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into compelling insights.
  4. Excellent communication skills to engage internal teams and retail partners.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
